WBS Fall 2020 - Video Class - Fruit that Will Last

Fruit that Will Last: A 8-Week Study on John 15:1-16 and Galatians 5 with Emily Pilkington
ONLINE VIDEO AT YOUR PACE

In Galatians 5, the Apostle Paul shares the fruit of the Spirit, a famous list of what the Christian life should be increasingly marked by. But how does this fruit grow? Paul’s admonition that fruit grows by walking in and being led by the Spirit echoes the words of Jesus who commands his followers to bear fruit that will last by remaining in him and surrendering to the care of his gardener Father. In this 8–week study, we’ll take a closer look at what it means to abide in Christ. We’ll gain a better understanding of what love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control mean, how Jesus himself embodied each perfectly, and what this might have to say for our own lives and relationships.

There are several ways to participate:

*Gather a small group of friends at a time and place that works for you
*Create your own weekly Zoom group meeting
*Complete on your own

The study includes weekly pre-recorded video sessions with Emily Pilkington, a workbook with discussion questions and optional homework.
