Crossing Men strives to help more and more men see that Jesus is more. We believe this happens in the context of authentic relationships with other men, so we offer men’s studies, classes, and events to help facilitate these relationships.
All men are invited to join us for basketball or pickleball most Thursday nights. Check the dropdown dates to be sure it's on!
Have you ever thought you might have gifting that you’re not aware of? Mark Brooks thinks you do. He believes that we all have skills, talents, and abilities that may be so inherent in us that we are often unaware they exist. We may need someone else to tell us what we do well, especially as it relates to our work. If we don’t identify our God-given gifts, the imposter syndrome creeps with self-doubt and we fear being exposed as a fraud.
Mark is the Co-President and COO of Permanent Equity. He leads the operations team by supporting portfolio company leadership teams. Mark also serves as an elder at The Crossing.
Come check out some great cars (classic, exotic, and contemporary), have a cup of coffee, and get to know other men in the Columbia area who share your automotive enthusiasm. You don’t have to have a supercar to display your car. Feel free to show your car and invite a friend. We'll gather at the main Crossing parking lot on the second Saturday of each month.
Is masculinity really toxic? You've probably seen books with titles like I Hate Men and Are Men Necessary? In her bestselling book, The Toxic War on Masculinity, Nancy Pearcey offers a way forward. She reveals how masculinity got to where it is today and how Christianity offers a better narrative for men. Surprisingly, research shows that the "best men" are those who follow Jesus.
We hope you join us for this life changing 3-week lunch study to discuss Pearcey’s book and learn what it means to become the kind of men Jesus calls us to be instead of taking our cues from our culture.
The cost is $25 (includes book) or $15 (purchase your own book) to be paid online or at the first meeting. Lunch will be provided. If you sign up with a friend, please make a note to help with table assignments.
Join Crossing Men for a weekly study to help you grow in your faith and in relationships with others.
A variety of ongoing Men’s Groups from The Crossing meet at various times during the week all throughout Columbia and mid-Missouri. The purpose of these groups is to help you mature as a disciple of Jesus as you build strong friendships with other men.
We have a unique partnership with Algoa Prison in Jefferson City where every week men from The Crossing serve by leading a discipleship program with prisoners.
