Agape Roots

Agape Roots

Agape Roots is a class designed for 6th-12th graders that would benefit from an adapted curriculum. We utilize Bible videos, hands on activities, and frequent breaks to provide a learning environment that is beneficial for students with intellectual disabilities. We create lessons based on the intellectual abilities in the room & provide one on one volunteers so students can have the most individualized learning experience possible. This class isn't designed to separate students from their peers, but to meet their learning needs. Many students in Agape Roots are also a part of general Crossing Students events such as Think Tank and 573! If you think this may be a good fit for your student, please email Kari Nietzel to learn how to get involved!
