Ruth: A Love Fiercer than Death with Patrick Miller

Join us for a morning of spiritual refreshment. We will reflect on Ruth, a story of ordinary life and extraordinary tragedy: a husband lost, two children dead, and a mourning heroine left with deep questions about the goodness of God. Yet, it is also a story of fierce love. Behind the clouds of death and despair shines God’s steadfast love, embodied in the surprising goodness of a weak (by the world’s standards) and widowed foreigner named Ruth, and an aging but faithful redeemer named Boaz. We will reflect on our own hardships, losses, and longings in order to discover how our weak (by the world’s standards) but faithful redeemer, Jesus, plans to reclaim us with a love fiercer than death.
